How can CBD oil help you dog?

What is CBD oil?

CBD (Cannabidol), oil is the non-psychoactive element in both hemp and marijuana, meaning it doesn’t make your dog (or humans) high. CBD is present in both the hemp plant and the marijuana plant and is legal in just about every state in the US. (In Utah as long as the extract is composed of less than 0.3% tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and at least 15% cannabidiol (CBD) by weight and does not contain any other psychoactive substance, its fine!

Will it make your dog high?

NO! CBD oil will not make your dog high. It does not contain the chemical compound (THC) in it and will not make your dog high. You may notice that it does however, help your dog to mellow.

Dosage:

CBD is an oil extract and comes in a dropper. The oil can be mixed into dog food or onto treats and is also available in pill form from some companies. Dosage is determined by weight and you should read each individual company’s directions for dosage, as oils come in different strengths!
